Block Blue Light - ScreenTime Tortoise
Detailed product information
BlockBlueLight - ScreenTime Premium Daytime Filter Glasses are specifically designed for those spending significant periods of time during the day in front of screens. They feature BlockBlueLight’s specialised ClearBlue Lenses, designed to filter out harmful, artificial blue light emitted by digital devices and all other artificial light sources.
These blue light glasses for day use filter 50% of blue light across the entire blue light spectrum (400nm-500nm) to alleviate digital eye strain, sore and tired eyes, headaches/migraines, and blurred vision from both screen time and bright LED or fluorescent lighting in the workplace.
What sets BlockBlueLight computer glasses apart from all the other clear lens glasses on the market is their ClearBlue Lens technology; this filters 50% of blue light at 455 nanometers, which is the most energetic, damaging light emitted from screens, LED’s, and other modern artificial lighting. Most other companies supplying clear blue blocking glasses only block 15%-20% of blue light from 400-430nm and do not block any at the 455nm range where it matters the most.
To ensure you have both day AND night protection, BlockBlueLight recommend you also use a set of Night-time Blue Light Blocking Glasses during night-time to ensure deep and restful sleep.

BlockBlueLight have specially designed the clear lenses in a unique way that the most harmful wave lengths of blue light are blocked which causes eye strain, headaches, migraines, and macular degeneration, and at the same time still providing crystal clear vision without any colour distortion.
Daytime glasses will not be effective for use at night-time and will not provide any benefits for sleep. To be effective and help with sleep, night-time blue blocking glasses MUST block 100% of blue light, or even better would be 100% blue and green light up to 550nm. This is because any amount of blue light at night is a signal to the brain that it's daytime and the sun is up. Daytime glasses don’t block all blue light, they are only designed to filter it down to more natural daytime levels.
If you want to allow yourself to truly wind down and relax in the evening and then get a deep and restful sleep, a pair of night-time blue blocking glasses is essential.
