The Greens are lightly sweetened with stevia and is flavoured with a hint of pineapple to complement the natural flavour of vegetables. Greens is designed to be added to water—no need to add anything else to improve the taste.
Superfoods are ingredients that are known to have overall health and wellness benefits. This superfood blend contains spirulina, chlorella, acerola cherry, acai berry and green tea extract, which can help to provide antioxidant support.
Bulletproof follow the Environmental Working Group’s (EWG) assessment of which fruits and vegetables are most likely to contain pesticides to decide what needs to be organic. They made this science-based decision because they want Greens to contain high-quality, clean ingredients. Based off the EWG’s 2021 list, the top 20 ingredients, including the dirty dozen, are all organic in this product.
Greens powders aren’t bad, most just haven’t taken the steps to reduce the effects of oxalates. This anti-nutrient interferes with the absorption of important minerals and may create challenges in the body. Based on research, Bulletproof have included calcium in this product to help bind with oxalates in the gut so they are less likely to decrease absorption of minerals or get into your body. This can help you get the most nutrients out of this product while decreasing any effects from anti-nutrients.
