Bulletproof Coffee - Regular is the 2nd lightest roast of the Bulletproof varieties. If you prefer a lighter roast go for Luminate and for a darker roast, check out The Mentalist or French Kick.

What's unique about Bulletproof Coffee?

Because of the way they are manufactured, many commercial coffee beans contain high levels of mould toxins which may contribute to chronic health issues, but this coffee is different. It is produced using the proprietary Bulletproof Process which supports the coffee production every step by minimising the opportunity for performance-robbing mould toxins.

From Source to Sip, Bulletproof Keeps it Clean

Bulletproof Upgraded beans are harvested at high altitude on single, passive organic estates in Guatemala without chemicals (herbicides, pesticides, etc.). Each bean is hand-picked by experienced coffee harvesters – skilled people who only pick perfectly ripe berries. When the coffee beans are not carefully hand-harvested, the beans can be mistakenly picked unripe and damaged, which impacts the taste and can possibly affect the way it makes you feel.

The process

After we pick the ripest cherries, we use the proprietary Bulletproof Process. The beans are then medium roasted in small batches in the United States under the strictest conditions, which minimise the formation of toxins from the roasting process. Roasting the beans may support the flavour to provide a cup of coffee that is tasty and healthy. Drink on its own or use to make Bulletproof Coffee.

Either brew as you would standard coffee, or use it to create Bulletproof Coffee.

How to put butter in your coffee, the Bulletproof way.

Make Bulletproof Coffee right and you’ll feel the difference with your first cup.

Step 1: Brew

Choose your favourite brewing method and use 2 1⁄2 Tablespoons (37ml) freshly ground beans for every 236ml of water. (French Press is recommended)

Step 2: Bulletproof

Add 1 Tbsp of grass-fed, unsalted butter.

If you’re new to Bulletproof Coffee, add 1 tsp (5 ml) Bulletproof Brain Octane oil to your coffee, gradually increasing each day up to 1 Tbsp. Blend for 20–30 seconds until it’s creamy and frothy.

Drink and Perform.

Side note: We here at Functional Self love to add a little Great Lakes Collagen to our coffee for a little bit of protein in the morning.
